Here’s an in-depth look at my clients’ stay at Lesante Blu Zakynthos.
My First Impressions and Arrival
Upon arrival at Lesante Blu Zakynthos, my clients were greeted with exceptional hospitality. Complimentary ice cream bars, wet towels, and cool water were offered as soon as they stepped into the resort. This warm welcome set the tone for their stay, emphasizing the hotel’s commitment to providing a luxurious and relaxing experience from the very beginning. They also enjoyed private ZTH airport transfers which was included in their honeymoon package (read more on that below).
Dining – Was the Half Board Meal Plan Worth it?
Absolutely! My clients opted for the half board meal plan, which included both breakfast and dinner. This decision proved to be worthwhile as it allowed them to enjoy delicious meals without the hassle of traveling off the resort.
- Breakfast: A delightful buffet with additional menu options ensured that every morning started on a high note.
- Dinner: Each evening featured a five-course meal, providing a fine dining experience that was both varied and exquisite.
However, there were a couple of minor hiccups. For instance, there was a misunderstanding regarding the cost of the fine dining dinner option, which they initially believed to be only 20 euros per person. In reality, it was just a discount. Additionally, a communication issue led to an unexpectedly high wine bill of 350 euros when they thought they were simply holding off on wine. Despite these small challenges, the overall dining experience was highly satisfactory.
Accommodation and Service
The rooms at Lesante Blu Zakynthos are as luxurious as one would expect from a five-star resort. However, my clients did encounter some issues with their room keys not working on more than five occasions. Fortunately, the staff was consistently friendly and quick to resolve the problem, ensuring minimal disruption to their stay. So kudos to the staff for quickly handling! I always recommend my clients complain during vacation so the hotel staff can fix right then and there. It doesn’t do anyone any good by waiting to complain after.
Honeymoon Perks
Lesante Blu Zakynthos delivered on all the honeymoon perks included in the package, making the couple’s stay even more special. These included:
- Couples massage: A very relaxing experience.
- Spa access: Adding an extra layer of relaxation.
- VIP transfer: Seamless transportation to and from the airport.
- Romantic gestures: A bouquet of flowers, rose petals, and champagne in the room on the first night, breakfast in bed, and a candlelit dinner on the second night.

The couple took full advantage of the activities offered in Zakynthos:
